This privacy policy describes how GORCOS (“we”, “us” or “our”) collects and processes your personal data.

2. How we process your information
2.1 When purchasing products
When you purchase goods from us, we process the information necessary to fulfill your order and deliver the product to you. This includes your name, address, email and telephone number.
The processing is based on GDPR Article 6(1)(b) (performance of a contract). If information is used for related administrative purposes, it is based on Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in managing our sales).
We may share your information with partners such as shipping companies, warehouses and IT suppliers. The information is stored for as long as necessary – as a rule, the financial year plus five years, cf. the Danish Accounting Act.
2.2 Payment with Klarna
If you choose to pay via Klarna, we will pass on the relevant information (e.g. name, address, email, telephone number and order data) to Klarna so that they can complete the payment.
This is done on the basis of GDPR Article 6, paragraph 1, letter b.

2.3 Newsletter
You can sign up for our newsletter to receive offers and updates. For this purpose, we process your email address.
The basis for the processing is GDPR Article 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest). You can always unsubscribe from the newsletter, and we will then delete your information no later than one year after unsubscribing, unless we need to document your consent for a longer period.
2.4 Social media
GORCOS has profiles on social media (e.g. Facebook and Instagram). When you visit our pages, information about you is processed under joint data responsibility with the media in question.

If you contact us directly via social media, we process the information you provide, such as your name and your inquiry, based on our legitimate interest in communicating with customers and users (GDPR Article 6(1)(f).
We only access aggregated statistical data from social media, not individual information about your behavior.
3. Transfer to third countries
Some of our suppliers may be located outside the EU/EEA, e.g. in the USA or Canada. This includes:

The transfer is made either on the basis of the EU Commission's adequacy decision (e.g. for Canada) or via standard contracts approved by the EU Commission. You can request a copy of these agreements by writing to us at info@gorcos.dk.
4. Mandatory information
Certain information is necessary for us to enter into an agreement with you – for example, name, address and payment information. Without this, we cannot deliver your goods.
5. Your rights
You have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
Right to access, rectify or delete.
Right to restriction of processing.
Right to data portability for information you have provided to us.
Right to withdraw consent if the processing is based on consent.
Right to object to processing based on Article 6(1)(e) or (f).
Right to always object to processing for direct marketing purposes.
